Sannadhi

Terms & Conditions

This is the Terms & Conditions as shown in the Sannadhi app (version 1.1.0). The in-app version, under Settings → Terms & Conditions, is authoritative.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating a Sannadhi account or using the Sannadhi app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Sannadhi account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

You sign in to Sannadhi using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure, since it controls access to your Sannadhi account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including any birth details, temple submissions, or family (Kula Devata) records you add.

4. Community Contributions

Sannadhi lets devotees contribute to a shared community record — suggesting temples, confirming or flagging issues with existing listings, recording family deity (Kula Devata) history, and sponsoring or participating in community events such as Annadhanam. When you contribute, you agree to provide information honestly and in good faith. Deliberately false or misleading contributions (for example, confirming a temple you have not verified, or falsely reporting a genuine listing) may result in your contribution being removed and your account being restricted or suspended.

5. Priest (Pujari) Verification

If you apply to be listed as a priest, you agree to provide accurate identity and credential information, including a verification selfie and phone number, and you confirm that any documents you submit are genuine and belong to you. Sannadhi reviews priest applications before listing them publicly, and may decline, suspend, or remove a priest listing at its discretion, including where information provided is found to be false or misleading.

6. Zero-Tolerance for Objectionable Content

Sannadhi has zero tolerance for content or behavior that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable, including content directed at any individual, community, or religious tradition. This applies to everything you submit or share through Sannadhi — temple details, community notes, family records, reports, and any other content. You can report content or another user's conduct from within the app. We review reports and take action we consider appropriate, which may include removing content or restricting an account, up to and including termination.

7. Your Content — License and Takedown

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Sannadhi. By submitting content — such as a temple suggestion, a family memory, or a report — you grant Sannadhi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating and improving Sannadhi. If you believe content on Sannadhi infringes your rights or violates these Terms, contact support@sannadhi.in and we will review it for removal.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Sannadhi if you violate these Terms, provide false information, misuse the priest-verification process, or engage in objectionable conduct as described above. You may stop using Sannadhi and delete your account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The Sannadhi app, its design, branding, and underlying software belong to Sannadhi and its licensors. Except for the content you submit under the license above, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

10. Religious Disclaimer

Sannadhi provides information about Hindu temples, the Panchang calendar, festivals, and related devotional practices as a tool for devotees. Sannadhi is not a religious authority, does not represent any particular temple, tradition, sampradaya, or lineage, and does not issue religious rulings. Panchang timings, festival dates, and related content are provided for personal and devotional reference; where local temple or family tradition differs, that tradition takes precedence. Priest listings reflect information submitted and reviewed through our verification process and are not an endorsement of any individual's religious authority or qualifications.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Sannadhi is provided "as is." Temple information, event details, and community contributions come substantially from devotees and temple administrators, and Sannadhi does not guarantee their accuracy or completeness. Sannadhi does not collect money, sell goods, or mediate transactions between devotees and temples; any seva, donation, or sponsorship arrangement happens directly between you and the relevant temple or individual, and Sannadhi is not a party to it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sannadhi is not liable for losses arising from your reliance on content within the app or from arrangements made outside the app between devotees, temples, or priests.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Sannadhi changes. Each version has an effective date and version number shown at the top of this document. If a change is material, you will be asked to review and accept the updated Terms the next time you use the app.
